Short Message Service (SMS) Program
These SMS Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern the text messaging program operated by Shark Travel LLC (incorporated in Wyoming, USA) and SHARK TRAVEL LLP (registered in Chandigarh, India) (collectively, "Shark Travel", "we", "us", or "our"). By opting in to receive SMS communications, you agree to these SMS Terms and consent to receive text messages in accordance with applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA messaging guidelines.
1. Program Description & Message Types
When you opt in, Shark Travel may send you transactional and customer care text messages related to your travel experience. The types of messages you may receive include:
- Booking Confirmations: Confirmation of your travel consultation, itinerary request, or advisory fee payment.
- Travel Itinerary Updates: Updates and summaries of your recommended flight, hotel, train, bus, or car rental options.
- Flight Schedule Changes: Notifications about schedule changes, delays, or cancellations affecting your recommended travel.
- Appointment Reminders: Reminders about upcoming consultation calls, appointments, or scheduled follow-ups.
- Customer Support Communications: Replies to your inquiries, status updates, and assistance with your account.
We do not send promotional, marketing, or advertising text messages under this program. All SMS messages are operational in nature and relate to services you have requested or purchased from Shark Travel.
2. How You Opt In
Your consent to receive SMS messages is obtained only through an explicit, unchecked opt-in checkbox on our website forms (for example, the Contact Us and Consultation forms). You are never required to provide SMS consent in order to submit a form, request a consultation, or purchase our services.
By checking the opt-in box and providing your mobile phone number, you:
- Certify that the mobile number you provide belongs to you;
- Authorize Shark Travel to send the transactional and customer care text messages described in Section 1;
- Acknowledge that standard message and data rates may apply; and
- Agree to be bound by these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the status of your travel reservation, consultation, or customer support request. You may receive more messages during an active booking, itinerary update, or open support conversation, and fewer (or no) messages when no request is pending. If you have questions about the number of messages you are receiving, contact us at support@sharktravel.us.
4. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Shark Travel is not responsible for any charges that may be imposed by your carrier. Please check with your wireless provider for details on applicable rates, including whether text messaging is included in your plan.
5. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us.
What happens after you reply STOP: After you send the text STOP, we will send you one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed from the SMS program. Following that confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you later re-opt in.

7. Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. While we work with reputable messaging providers, delivery of text messages depends on factors outside our control, including your carrier's network, your device configuration, and coverage. Please keep your mobile number current and notify us of any changes to ensure you receive important notifications.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Your mobile number and SMS preferences are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and SMS Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
By participating in the SMS program, you agree to be bound by these SMS Terms, our Terms & Conditions, and our Privacy Policy.
